Ana has worked with mid-market companies for more than 15 years, providing them with legal services oriented to growing the business and handling legal risks. In addition to her extensive experience on corporate law, as a result of academic activities and years of practice at law firms and as in-house counsel, Ana also holds an MBA degree. This allows her to better support her clients on getting the best scenario by addressing both legal and business issues.
Her career is grounded on great experience in Contract Law, M&A, project finance, while an attorney in an important law firm in Brazil, and in general legal risks as in-house counsel for an IT company. She has delivered services not only in Brazil, but also to businesses based in countries in Latin America, such as Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico.
Recently, Ana has founded a boutique law firm aiming to render services to start-ups and mid-stage companies based in Brazil. The law firm has successfully counselled portfolio companies of private equity funds and middle market companies on general legal issues and anti-corruption laws.
After years managing the legal department and in charge of legal issues in America Latina, Ana realized how important is to have a straightforward legal advice, with clear information on the risks involved. Her main target, by setting up a law firm, is to help companies (and legal in-house) to foster efficiency and predictability on legal risks assessment and management, by identifying them and building an action plan. Her services are grounded on the belief that an accurate Legal Risk assessment can create value. And Ana is eager to help her clients to find answers and to build a more secure future for the business.
